Conclusiones Como se ha planteado detalladamente, el panorama actual del uso de psicofármacos en Anorexia Nerviosa continúa siendo muy restrictivo, limitado a prescripciones muy prudentes y cautelosas durante el periodo de estado, tanto para el abordaje de las manifestaciones centrales del trastorno como para el tratamiento farmacológico de otros trastornos comórbidos. El uso de antidepresivos en el mantenimiento, parecería de utilidad en función de intentar reducir la fracción de pacientes que pierde peso corporal, tanto como, quizás, la pérdida ponderal de cada paciente en particular. En el caso de la Bulimia Nerviosa, el panorama es bastante distinto. Existen actualmente recursos terapéuticos genuinos, de eficacia comprobada, que utilizados racionalmente generan un aporte de significación al tratamiento de este trastorno, y sobre el tema nos extenderemos en la segunda parte de esta reseña.
