farmacología cardiovascular 29 | Marzo de 2015 En la actualidad, la vitamina D no puede ser considerada una droga antihipertensiva, pero es probable que juegue un rol fundamental como hormona reguladora en el aparato cardiovascular. El conocimiento del estatus de la misma en sangre y el uso de suplementos para normalizar bajos niveles podrían tener una enorme importancia en la evolución de hipertensión arterial y la enfermedad cardiovascular (1, 8, 34, 35).
