Asoció con el colegio inglés donde estudió, “el director me castigaba cuando me copiaba”. Asoció los golpes brutales de su padre cuando llegaba ebrio a la casa, lo obligaba a masturbarlo “yo lo hacía quedándome duro del miedo”. Se interpretó la angustia como fracaso enel trabajo del sueño, conmigo, había sentido lo mismo, vivía el contrato, elencuadre, ausencias del fin de semana, vacaciones, y ciertas interpretaciones, como abandono y “como golpes en sus manos”; pero otras, que lo contenían, lo comprendían, ocupándome de él con cariño “curándole las manos”. En el trabajo del sueño se ve un contenido manifiesto y otro latente, cuando se acercan, fracasaría el trabajo onírico entonces aparece la angustia y Desmond se despierta. Aparecieron recuerdos infantiles, que fueron interpretados como indicadores de cierta mejoría. Recordaba a la madre, lo había abandonado cuando tenía tres años y no la había visto desde entonces (severo trauma de apego). Referencias bibliográficas 1.
