D Rodante, F Rebok // Trastorno límite de la personalidad expectativas disfuncionales. Las creencias distorsionadas y los presupuestos inhiben las habilidades de afrontamiento. 3. Exposición emocional: frente a respuestas emocionales condicionadas, “estar con la emoción” bloqueando tendencias de acción. Las emociones del paciente y las tendencias de acción asociadas interfieren con la utilización efectiva de las habilidades de afrontamiento. 4. Entrenamiento en habilidades: el paciente carece de la habilidad requerida para resolver el problema o no sabe cómo usarla efectivamente. Se recomienda la implementación de DBT en pacientes con diagnóstico de TLP para reducir la frecuencia de intentos de suicidio, ideas suicidas y nivel de depresión, disminución de la probabilidad de abandono de la terapia y de internación psiquiátrica (74).
